The Christmas Guide to Saffron
We aim to bring you the best of December's ingredients that are seasonally available( see our menu pages for full details).
However we draw the line at Turkeys, Christmas Pudding and Mince Pies !!
In previous years our menus have incorporated chestnuts, cranberries, goose breasts, figs, pheasants, partridge, native oysters, squashes, organic salmon, apple bananas and Sharpham Elmhurst cheese
Dishes such as Spider Crab Chowder, Beef Carpaccio, Pave of Wild Mushrooms, Chicken and Lobster Fricassee, Venison with Chocolate Peppercorn Sauce, Wood Roast Vegetables, Chocolate Pizza and the December dessert plate which included Figgy Pudding, Cranberry Parfait, Chestnut Linzertorte and a shot of PX dessert wine.
Booking is thoroughly advised at all times to avoid disappointment.
