Saffron has been at the forefront of the Cornish food and restaurant revival for the last 10 years. Open for brunch, lunch, a la carte dinner and pre-theatre dinner, the style is modern British.

Our kitchen has developed long-term relationships with growers and producers to ensure that Saffron receives the best quality ingredients, even when climatic conditions mean supplies may be short. Our fish for example is only sourced from day boats, so there is no requirement to freeze it. It can therefore be from sea to plate within 24 hours. Our menu is regularly changing depending on what has come into season.

Our ever changing menu is well balanced with fish and meat options, and is designed to maximise the taste and flavour of our local seasonal produce. From a crab gnocchi lunch to a rhubarb and champagne tasting plate to finish your meal, you can be sure your dining experience will be a memorable showcase of Cornish food prepared often from award winning ingredients.

Even our coffee is roasted and ground in Cornwall from artisan producers, Origin. Perfect for a mid-morning break with a freshly baked cake or toasted teacake.
